Hi, my name is Stephen, here I am with my English Springer Spaniel, Barney.
My journey into dog training began with my previous dog, a Jack Russell, raised from a pup. In my search for guidance, I visited two different trainers. I can still remember the moment the last one advised me to “whack him” or “spray water in his face,” in that moment I walked away to find a better path, dogs don’t learn through fear.
That experience became a turning point. Through my deep love for dogs and the joy they bring into our lives, I wanted to understand how dogs truly learn and think. I became fascinated with canine psychology and how every dog has its own unique way of communicating.
